2025 IGSZ Knockout Tournament

Many thanks to those of you who have registered. Attached you will find the first round draw, according to seedings (based upon your latest IGSZ handicap). Note; The number next to your name is your seeding, not your handicap. Rules & Regulations: 1. Matches will be played over 18 holes, preferably at HH or Oberkirch. Where both players agree, matches can be played over 2 x 9 holes at a course of your choosing:

2. Matchplay format will be used, with FULL handicap used. In other words, if a 5 handicap player plays a 20 handicap player, the higher handicapper received 15 shots on the 15 hardest stroke index holes. Nothing to do with Stableford points, the lowest score wins the hole.

3. In the event of a tied match after 18 holes, there will be a nearest the pin chip-off to decide the winner.

4. Please organise your matches yourselves, ideally within 3-4 weeks. Where possible, we will adjust the pairings in Monthly Medals or other 18 hole events to allow knockout matches to be played.

5. Where a player is injured or cannot find the time to play (within a reasonable timeframe) then a Walkover will be awarded.
