Birdie Bandits win the 2025 IGSZ Ryder Cup in style

This year´s edition of the IGSZ Ryder Cup took place in Bad Griesbach, Germany. 3 day event with different formats each day. 2 teams of 16 took on the battle, and scores were very close after day 1 and day 2, respectively 3,5 points Vs. 5.5 points and 10.5 points Vs. 11,5 points in favor of the Fairways Finders led by Captain Till Herrmann.

The last day is was all to play for and 16 single matches on the program. After all the matches were played, it was clear that the Birdie Bandits had a better day in the Porsche Course winning 12 of the matches and with 1 tie.

Final result; Birdie Bandits 35.5 points Vs. 17.5 for the Fairway Finders.

Captains Marcel and Till decided on the player of the tournement and the bandit of the weekend. Sean Fitzgerald was on all his matches, including taking 6 points in the Florida scramble played on Sat, and he was on form, taking the trophy for Player of the IGSZ Ryder Cup Tournement 2025

The Bandit price went to Tim Hilts, since he won his individual games and brought home a point for the Birdie Bandits in the Scramble as well.
