Yesterday we played our first ever IGSZ BMW Open Championship at a wet and windy Oberkirch. Despite pretty horrible conditions, there were some excellent scores, and congratulations goes to Michael Mohnke who won the trophy and the new Open Winner Blue/Green Jacket with a fine 34 points, just edging out Lance Mayer and Marcel Kniknie (33) and John Stuart and Julian Tauschke (32). Julian also took home the LD trophy and NTP was Danny Cummins. Nigel Swinscoe took home the Brutto winner trophy with an excellent 31 points. Well done to all the winners and thanks again to Tom from BMW Steiner Group for the prizes and sponsorship.
Attached are the updated handicaps after 19 rounds of play in the 2025 season. 1 more round will be played next week in HH before we decide who will be invited for this years IGSZ Ryder Cup in Bad Griesbach, Germany on Sept. 25-28
